I was waiting for some friends to have lunch together in a little nice restaurant. They called and said they would be late, so I had enough time to do..nothing.

I kept checking the menu and checking the people from time to time. The place was not crowded but yet full of life. I looked around and saw waiters hurrying by, couples arguing loudly, kids running around the tables happily, mothers chasing their kids angrily….

And there across the tables, I saw him. He was close to the glass panel that day light made his eyes shine so brightly. The moment I laid eyes on him, I couldn’t take them off. He was gorgeous, completely amazing; the most beautiful being I ever seen.

I wondered if he had noticed me too. I couldn’t help not smiling at him when he looked my direction. I was so excited he smiled back at me. He kept flashing those dazzling smiles at me and I felt happier. The waiter came and blocked my view for few seconds. I drove him away gently and told him I’ll wait for my friends. I looked hurriedly at this beautiful face again and decided to wave at him. His smile was wider and he waved back at me. I was even happier.

My friends came and completely blocked my view as they sat down. I looked at the menu then back at him and thought: That must be the cutest baby I ever seen in my life.
